About This Product
V-Twin swingarm pivot shaft for 1982-1988 FXR and 1982-1985 FLH and FLT Touring models. Replaces OEM 47515-82A. Sold individually. This shaft carries the whole rear suspension pivot. Wear or pitting here causes vague handling and a loose rear end. Inspect it every time the swingarm comes out. If you find scoring or damaged threads, fit a new one. Clean the bore thoroughly and torque the nut to factory spec on reassembly.
