About This Product
This is the S&S Cycle idle mixture screw spring made from .036-inch wire. It fits Super E and Super G carburetors with the 1 7/8-inch and 2 1/16-inch throat. The spring sits behind the mixture screw and keeps it from drifting under vibration. Replacing this spring during a carburetor rebuild is standard practice. A weak spring causes an idle that hunts and will not hold its tune.
