About This Product
This steel Woodruff key is a precision-machined fastener designed specifically for the camshaft assembly of the S&S X-Wedge engine. Measuring .125 inches by .500 inches by .491 inches, it ensures the cam remains perfectly indexed to its drive gear, which is critical for maintaining engine timing. This key is compatible with all X-Wedge configurations, including the X114, X117, and X121, as well as the larger X132 big bore kits found in custom bikes like the Morgan Threewheeler and Big Dog. Made from high-strength steel to resist shearing, it provides the reliability needed for high-performance V-twin engines. Sold individually, it is a small but vital part that should always be replaced during a cam swap or engine overhaul to ensure mechanical integrity.
