About This Product
This raw finish starter housing is specifically designed for Hitachi style starter motors used on 1979 through 1988 FX models. It comes complete with the necessary bearing already installed, saving you time and effort during the assembly process. The housing is threaded for #10 UNC fasteners on a 2 3/8" center-to-center mounting, which is the standard specification for Hitachi units from this era.
