While they are designed to bolt directly to 1936–1984 Big Twin frames, they are also an excellent choice for 1984–1999 Softail models when used with a separately available mounting kit. The two halves provide a combined capacity of 2.25 gallons and feature a fuel crossover and vent system. They are designed to accept a standard 22mm petcock and cam-style gas caps.
