The steel is finished with a phosphate etch to resist corrosion and provide a stable foundation for custom paint. As a custom style fender, it is delivered untrimmed and undrilled, giving the builder the flexibility to adapt it to Narrow, Mid, or Wide Glide front ends according to their specific design requirements.
