This 900-gram Picard engineers hammer combines a traditional English-pattern ball peen head with a modern fiberglass handle. The head is made from alloyed, hardened, and tempered steel with a black powder-coated finish and polished striking surfaces. The solid fiberglass handle features a non-slip plastic grip, designed to reduce vibration and provide a secure hold even with oily hands. The head and handle are permanently joined using a strong two-component adhesive.
