About This Product
This 1 1/4 inch choke plate, or air intake disc, is a crucial component for the cold-start circuit on vintage Linkert carburetors. Produced by Samwel, it is designed to fit a wide range of M-series carbs, including the M-5, M-25, M-35, M-41, M-42, M-51, M-52, and M-54. Fitment covers all Harley-Davidson models from 1930 to 1947, as well as 45 cubic inch models from 1948 to 1952 and 1948 74 cubic inch Sidevalve models. Replacing a warped or damaged disc ensures proper airflow restriction when choking the engine, making starting much easier. This part is a faithful reproduction of OEM 27225-24, perfect for authentic restorations.
