About This Product
This traditional cork float from Samwel is a faithful reproduction of the original Linkert fuel float. It is designed to provide the correct buoyancy required for accurate fuel level management in your carburetor bowl. This float replaces OEM numbers 1271-33 and 27380-33. It fits most Harley-Davidson models from late 1933 through 1965 equipped with a Linkert carburetor, with the exception of 1950 to 1952 61-inch OHV models and 45-inch models. When rebuilding a vintage intake system, a fresh float is essential to prevent flooding or fuel starvation, ensuring your classic machine maintains a steady idle and smooth transition through the gears. It is a must-have for any serious Linkert carburetor overhaul.
