About This Product
Compu-Fire replacement starter pinion gear. Ten teeth. It replaces the pinion in the 538429 starter ring gear conversion kit. Fits 1990 to 1993 Big Twin Evolution models. The teeth wear from repeated engagement against the ring gear. A worn pinion causes slow picking or grinding on start-up. Fit this and the starter will engage cleanly again. Check the clutch hub and ring gear for wear while you are in there. Sold individually.
