About This Product
This Samwel bushing fits the 1st gear on the transmission mainshaft of 45-inch Flathead models. It covers 1941 to 1973 WLA, Servi-Car, and civilian machines. It replaces OEM 35316-41 and 2297-41A. The bushing provides the bearing surface inside the gearbox. You need this for any 45-inch Flathead gearbox rebuild. Check the bore tolerance before you press it in. A loose bushing will ruin shifting and eat the mainshaft.
