This custom Star hub from Samwel is a high-quality upgrade for vintage Harley-Davidson wheels. It features a black powder-coated hub body paired with a black parkerized star cover for a rugged, period-correct look. Unlike the original caged roller designs, this hub uses an improved custom needle bearing setup without cages, providing a larger bearing surface for reduced wear and a longer service life. It is designed for the rear of 1937 to 1952 WL and WLA models, and for both front and rear on 1936 to 1952 WLC and 1936 to 1964 Big Twin models. It also physically fits 1936 to 1940 bikes. This hub, which references OEM number 43540-36, is a reliable choice for maintaining classic performance.
