About This Product
Samwel's rubber battery pad set is designed for the 6-volt battery fitted to 1929–1953 45-inch Flathead solo models, excluding the Servi-Car. These pads replace Harley-Davidson OEM part 4427-15 and sit beneath the battery to absorb vibration and prevent the case from chafing against the metal battery box. Over the decades, original rubber pads deteriorate and crumble, so replacement is often necessary during any restoration. This set includes the correct pads to properly cushion and locate the period-correct 6-volt battery in the frame-mounted box.
