About This Product
This is the Wera 8790 HMA 6mm deep socket. It takes a 1/4" drive. The body is 50mm long. That extra depth clears long studs and recessed hex fasteners. Wera forge it from chrome vanadium and finish it in brushed chrome. The base is knurled so you can spin it by hand. A ball intercept ring holds it on the ratchet. The colour-coding helps you pick the 6mm size out of a messy drawer. Keep the ring clean of grease or the socket will drop off the drive square.
