About This Product
S&S white-coded pinion shaft gear kit for 1954 to early 1977 Big Twin Panhead and Shovelhead engines. This is the smallest of the three sizes. It includes all components on the pinion shaft. Use it for scratch builds or full rebuilds. You must run it with a 1973 to 1999 Big Twin style oil pump driven gear, S&S 531209 or OEM 26345-73. Fitting it to a 1954 to 1972 engine raises oil pump RPM by 25% to match later spec. Check your cam gear-to-pinion gear clearance in the factory manual before you order.
