106-3482 40-47 generator cam cover kit. For S&S cases

This S&S generator cam cover kit is purpose-built for 1940–1947 OHV Big Twin models running S&S cases. Cast from extra-strong 356-T6 aluminum, these covers feature a burnished finish that perfectly matches S&S crankcases. The design includes an 8-rib pattern and eliminates the stock outside oiler passage, instead utilizing a tapped hole on top of the cover to supply oil to the top end, much like the 1936–1948 OHV Big Twin setups. It features a 9/16-inch ID pinion bushing and 5/16-inch generator mounting holes. CNC precision machining ensures tight tolerances, while the redesigned baffle chamber improves crankcase ventilation. Please note this kit includes the gasket and hardware but will not fit Side Valve models.
