About This Product
S&S generator cam cover kit for 1940 to 1947 OHV Big Twin models running S&S cases. Cast from extra-strong 356-T6 aluminium with a burnished finish to match S&S crankcases. It has an 8-rib pattern. The cover eliminates the stock outside oiler passage and uses a tapped hole on top to supply oil to the top end, like the 1936 to 1948 OHV setup. It has a 9/16-inch ID pinion bushing and 5/16-inch generator mounting holes. The kit includes the gasket and hardware. It will not fit Side Valve models.
