This 2-inch wide Thermo-Tec exhaust insulating wrap comes in a 50-foot roll, finished in a light brown or beige color. It is a great way to gain a performance edge by keeping exhaust gases hot, which maintains higher velocity and improves scavenging for better horsepower. Beyond the performance gains, it provides essential protection against accidental burns from hot pipes. This asbestos-free wrap is 1/16-inch thick and will naturally discolor slightly under heat once installed, giving it that authentic race-used look. For a standard 1-3/4 inch pipe, you will need about 38 inches of wrap for every foot of pipe, while 2-inch pipes require about 44 inches per foot.
