597524 Exhaust insulating wrap. 1" wide light brown

This 1-inch wide light brown fiberglass wrap is a solid choice for any rider wanting to improve their bike's thermal efficiency. Sold in 50-foot rolls, the 1.5mm thick material handles continuous temperatures of 1200°F and peak bursts up to 2000°F. By insulating the exhaust, you maintain the high gas temperatures necessary for optimal scavenging and engine performance. It also acts as a protective barrier against exhaust burns and hides any blueing on the metal. This universal wrap, part number 597524, will naturally discolour as it settles in. Note that you will need metal tie-wraps to secure the ends, which are available separately.
