When you are looking to wake up your ignition system, the Accel Twin Cam dual fire Super Coil is a serious upgrade over the factory unit. This 12V coil features a 0.5 Ohm primary resistance and is designed specifically for single fire, carbureted models. It serves as a direct replacement for OEM part 31655-99 but packs a much bigger punch, delivering approximately 45% higher voltage than the stock coil. This translates to a hotter spark and better combustion. It fits 2000 to 2006 Softail models, 1999 to 2005 Dyna models, 2002 to 2006 FLT Touring models, and 2004 to 2006 XL Sportsters. It is a straightforward way to improve performance and reliability on your Twin Cam or late-model Sportster.
