About This Product
This MCS early 6-volt coil and cable kit in black reproduces the square OEM coil style used on 1948–1969 Big Twin models with a 6-volt electrical system, excluding 1964 single-fire Panhead models. Includes a complete spark plug cable kit and is compatible with points ignition only. Replaces OEM reference 31604-48. A correct replacement for restoring original ignition function on early pre-12-volt H-D powerplants.
