About This Product
Loctite 290 is a green threadlocker in a 50cc bottle. The fluid is low-viscosity and wicks into already-assembled fasteners by capillary action. Use it on set-screws or bolts up to M12 (1/2") after they are in place. It gives a 10Nm bond on M10 hardware. You can also use it to seal small porosity in welds or cast metal parts. It holds to 150 degrees Celsius. You will need heat and hand tools to break it free. This is the one you reach for when you cannot pull the fastener out to apply a normal locker.
