About This Product
Loctite 648 is a green high-strength press-fit locker in a 24cc bottle. It bonds non-threaded cylindrical assemblies such as bearings, bushings and sleeves into their housings. It increases the load-bearing capacity of press-fit or shrink-fit joints and stops fretting corrosion. It withstands operating temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius. If you need to pull the part later, apply localized heating to approximately 250 degrees Celsius to break the bond. Use it in engine and transmission rebuilds when you want the bearing to stay put.
