About This Product
S&S Super E intake manifold. Size 228. Fits 1978 to 1984 Shovelhead models running 5.440-inch cylinders in 96-inch engines. Band-type seal. The extra cylinder height on a stroker build moves the head up. A standard manifold will not line up and will leak. This one puts the Super E carb at the correct height. Check the seal band and the clamping load before you torque it down. Clean the head face first.
