This S&S Super E manifold is engineered for serious displacement Shovelhead builds. It is a size 235, specifically intended for engines with a 5.530-inch cylinder length. This makes it the correct fitment for 1978 to 1984 Shovelhead models equipped with a 98-inch engine. Using the band-type seal configuration, this manifold accounts for the extra height of the cylinders to ensure a perfect, leak-free connection between your heads and your Super E carb. When you are dealing with custom stroker heights, you can't compromise on the intake, and this S&S unit provides the exact dimensions needed for a professional-grade installation.
