About This Product
This is an S&S size 242 intake manifold for Super G carburettors. It fits 1966 to 1978 Shovelhead and 1957 to 1978 XL Sportster engines running a 5.630-inch cylinder length. The casting is O-ring type. On a 103-inch stroker build the intake needs to line up dead straight. This manifold gives the correct geometry for big-bore Shovelhead and Ironhead heads. Check the flange faces for warp before you torque it down. Make sure the O-ring seats in the heads are clean and undamaged.
