About This Product
James Gaskets head and base gasket kit for 1936 to 1947 E and EL Knucklehead. Includes embossed copper head gaskets and RCM cylinder base gaskets with a dual silicone bead. Covers one complete engine. Replaces OEM 16770-36 and 16774-21. Sold as a kit. Clean the head and cylinder base faces thoroughly before fitting. Torque the head bolts in sequence to spec. The copper compresses on the first heat cycle. Do not reuse old torque figures on fresh gaskets.
