For high-performance 4-1/8 inch bore S&S engines, this James Gaskets cylinder head and base gasket kit is engineered to handle the pressure. It fits 1984 to 2017 S&S engines, excluding Twin Cooled models, and provides enough components to service one complete engine. The kit features Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gaskets, which use multiple layers of stainless steel riveted together to create a high-performance seal that eliminates the need for dowel pin o-rings. The base gaskets are .022-inch Rubber Coated Metal (RCM) with a final crush of .020-inch, featuring a silicone bead for maximum sealing power. These gaskets are designed for strength and do not require re-torquing, making them ideal for big-bore builds.
