About This Product
This +.001" oversize manganese bronze intake guide from Kibblewhite is perfect for vintage heads that need a slightly larger guide to maintain a proper press fit. Manganese bronze is known for its excellent lubricity and heat dissipation, and it is much easier to work with than harder bronze alloys, allowing for quick reaming and honing with standard tools. This guide is sold individually and fits 1948 to 1965 Panhead models and 1966 to 1978 74-inch Shovelheads. It is based on standard reference dimensions of 0.5650" O.D. and 0.3760" I.D., providing that extra thousandth of an inch needed for a professional-grade cylinder head restoration.
