This version features a +.004-inch oversize outer diameter, making it ideal for cylinder heads that require a slightly larger guide to maintain a proper press fit. Manganese bronze is prized by engine builders for its superior heat transfer and natural lubricity, ensuring the intake valves stay cool under load. It is also much easier to ream and hone than harder bronze alloys, allowing you to achieve a perfect fit with standard shop tools like an electric drill and a ball hone. Sold individually, these guides offer a great balance of performance and affordability for your classic V-twin restoration.
