This standard-size guide features a 0.5650-inch outer diameter, a 0.3760-inch inner diameter, and a 1.880-inch overall length. Manganese bronze is an excellent material for exhaust guides because it pulls heat away from the hot exhaust valve stem quickly while providing natural lubricity. It is also very user-friendly for the mechanic, as it can be reamed and honed to final size using basic tools like an electric drill and a ball hone. Sold individually, these guides provide a cost-effective and high-performance solution for your vintage V-twin top end.
