Restoring the valvetrain on a vintage Harley requires components that can handle the heat. This KPMI exhaust valve guide from Kibblewhite is made from premium cast iron, offering the maximum durability needed for heavy touring use. Cast iron remains the gold standard for wear resistance in traditional engine builds. This guide is finished to a +.001 inch oversize on the outer diameter to ensure a proper press fit in heads that have seen some miles. It is designed to fit 1948 to 1965 Panheads and 1966 to 1978 74-inch Shovelhead models. With a standard reference inner diameter of 0.3760 inches and an overall length of 1.880 inches, it provides the exact geometry needed for these classic machines. Sold individually, this guide is a staple for any serious Shovel or Pan engine project.
