About This Product
These KPMI exhaust valve guides are designed for 1948 to 1965 Panhead and 1966 to 1978 1200cc Shovelhead models. This version is a +.001-inch oversize on the outer diameter, providing just enough extra material for a perfect press fit in heads that have been lightly cleaned. Manganese bronze is the material of choice here, offering a great balance of durability, heat transfer, and lubricity. It is softer than C630 bearing bronze, which makes the job of reaming and honing much faster and easier for the builder. You can achieve a professional finish with a simple ball hone and a standard electric drill. Sold individually, these guides are a reliable way to ensure your exhaust valves are properly supported and cooled.
