About This Product
This KPMI intake valve guide is specifically designed for the later 1979 to 1984 80-inch 1340cc Shovelhead engines. This standard-size guide features a 0.6250-inch outer diameter, a 0.3745-inch inner diameter, and a 1.91-inch overall length. Cast from manganese bronze, it offers a great combination of rapid heat transfer and excellent lubricity, which is vital for maintaining the health of your intake valves. Engine builders appreciate manganese bronze because it is easy to work with; you can quickly ream it to size and finish the bore with a simple ball hone and an electric drill. Sold individually, these guides are a high-quality, cost-effective upgrade for any late Shovelhead top-end rebuild.
