Cast iron remains the preferred material for touring bikes because it offers incredible durability and resistance to the constant friction of the valve stem. This Kibblewhite guide is built to withstand the rigors of the road while maintaining tight tolerances. For reference, the standard non-oversize outer diameter is 0.6250 inches with an overall length of 1.91 inches. These are sold individually, allowing you to pick exactly what you need for your specific head repair. Using cast iron ensures your valve train stays stable and reliable for the long haul.
