About This Product
Andrews' 3.00 standard-ratio first gear set is designed for 1936–1958 Big Twin four-speed transmissions, reproducing the factory FL gear ratio. The set contains the mainshaft first and second gears along with the countershaft first gear, and your existing countershaft second gear can be reused. This is the correct replacement for worn or damaged gears when you want to maintain the original ratio on pre-unit Big Twins. Made to Andrews' race-quality standards from high-alloy steel, these gears are heat-treated and ground to precise tolerances for reliable, long-lasting performance in vintage Harley-Davidson transmissions.
