About This Product
This JIMS solid tappet is a precision-engineered component for 1957 to 1985 Sportster models. It is an oversized version with a +.005" increase over the standard .731" outer diameter, making it the perfect solution for engine cases where the tappet bores have seen significant wear. This tappet replaces the oversized version of OEM 18508-52B. Please note that an adjusting screw with a 5/16" ball-end and a corresponding lock nut are required for installation and are sold separately. JIMS is known for producing some of the highest quality engine internals in the industry, ensuring that your Ironhead Sportster's valvetrain remains stable and reliable for miles to come.
