About This Product
This James Gaskets cam cover gasket is made from .035-inch thick Foamet material, which features an aluminum core with nitrile synthetic rubber foam bonded to both sides. With a final crush of .022 inches, it provides a superior seal for the cam chest, preventing leaks and maintaining proper internal pressure. It is a direct replacement for OEM 25263-81 and is sold in a pack of five. This gasket fits 1982 to 1985 XL Sportster and XR1000 models. Using Foamet technology on these older Ironhead and early Evo Sportsters is a smart upgrade to ensure a dry and reliable engine.
