About This Product
Andrews C-ratio fourth gear set for late 1979 to early 1984 XL Sportster generator models. Includes an 18-tooth fourth-gear mainshaft and a 26-tooth fourth-gear countershaft. Replaces the stock 27/17-tooth ratio. This raises RPM in top gear and tightens up the ratios. Built for generator-equipped Sportsters of this era. Manufactured in the USA from high-alloy nickel steel. Ground to precise dimensions, heat treated, and shot-peened.
Manufacturer part number: 254740.
