For riders converting their Sportster or Big Twin from a belt drive to a chain drive, this PBI offset transmission sprocket is an essential component. It features a .750 inch offset, which is often necessary to achieve proper chain alignment when using wider tires or custom setups. This 22-tooth sprocket is CNC machined from 8620 alloy steel, heat-treated, and nickel-plated for superior strength. It fits 1986 through 2006 5-speed Big Twins (excluding 2006 Dyna models), as well as 1991 through 2006 XL Sportsters and Buell models. Note that while it fits 1991 through 1992 XL models, the lockplate bolt location differs from later years. This sprocket is built to handle the rigors of a high-performance chain conversion.
