About This Product
Andrews' adjustable aluminium pushrod set fits 1986–1990 XL Sportster models and can be used with OEM hydraulic tappets or run as solids. Aluminium pushrods are lighter than chromoly alternatives, reducing inertia mass in the valvetrain for improved high-RPM response. However, for heavy-duty service such as racing or high-lift cam applications with high-pressure springs, chromoly pushrods are still recommended for their superior flex resistance. Sold as a set with all four pushrods. The adjustable design allows precise valvetrain setup, making these particularly useful when running aftermarket camshafts that change the geometry.
