These Hastings chrome moly piston rings are designed for 1972 to 1985 Sportster models that have been bored out to .060 inch oversize. Sold as a pair for both cylinders, this set features 1.6mm compression rings and a 4.75mm oil ring. When you are rebuilding an Ironhead or early Evo Sporty, getting the ring fitment right is critical for performance and longevity. These rings are designed for a standard bore of 3.187 inches plus the .060 oversize. The three-piece flex vent oil rings ensure excellent oil control, which is vital for these air-cooled V-twins. Always measure your piston grooves to confirm these 1.6mm rings are the correct match for your specific pistons before assembly.
