For the restoration of a classic Knucklehead or early Panhead, using high-quality bronze bushings is essential for a quiet and durable cam chest. This S&S pinion shaft bushing is a standard-size replacement for the bushing located in the cam cover. It is a direct replacement for OEM 25582-36 and fits 1936 to 1953 Big Twin models. Machined from premium bronze, it provides an excellent bearing surface for the pinion shaft, ensuring proper oil pressure retention and smooth rotation. Like all cam cover bushings, it should be installed and line-reamed to ensure perfect alignment with the crankcase. This is a must-have for any mechanic looking to bring a vintage Harley engine back to factory-fresh specifications.
