Halder 40mm blue TPE insert for the Simplex mallet. It rates 1 out of 5 on the hardness scale, making it the softest face in the range. The thermoplastic elastomer cushions the blow and suits work on brightwork or aluminium tinware where you want to avoid marring. It fits any Simplex mallet with a 40mm head diameter. Swap it in when the original face gets cut or glazed over.
