About This Product
This Barnett Scorpion clutch basket is designed for 1990 to 1997 Big Twin models and features an 84-tooth starter ring gear paired with a 37-tooth primary drive sprocket. By using an 84-tooth ring gear, this setup offers improved durability for high-torque starters and high-compression engines compared to the later 102-tooth design. The basket itself is machined from 7075 forged aluminum and hard-anodized for extreme durability. It is a direct replacement for the stock shell and is compatible with both original and Scorpion clutches. The kit includes the bearing, ring gear, and all required mounting hardware.
