This 50mm Halder Simplex reinforced steel hammer head housing is built for the professional who demands a tool that can handle extreme impact. The reinforced cast steel construction features thicker walls and specialized bracing, making it nearly indestructible during heavy use. The extra mass of this 785-gram housing provides superior impact power, making it an excellent choice for use with copper inserts. It comes finished in black powder coat and includes the assembly bolt, nut, and spring washer. Designed to fit Simplex inserts and fiberglass handles with a 50mm diameter, this housing provides a solid foundation for a custom mallet. Note that this reinforced housing is compatible with fiberglass handles only and cannot be used with wooden handles.
