About This Product
Accel early-style starter relay. Replaces OEM 71463-73A. Fits 1973 to 1979 FX models, 1974 to 1979 FL models, and 1975 to 1979 XL Sportsters. These live low on the frame and collect water and road salt. Corroded terminals cause voltage drop and slow cranking. Check your earth strap and battery cables before you fit a new relay. A bad earth will kill the replacement just as quickly. Clean the mounting bolt threads and use a star washer.
Manufacturer part number: 40110.
