This Arlen Ness Stage 1 Big Sucker air cleaner kit is a classic performance upgrade for 1992–1999 Evolution Big Twin models equipped with a CV carburetor. It features a stunning beveled chrome-plated billet cover and a high-performance cotton gauze filter element pre-oiled with black oil. The engineering focus here is maximum airflow, which translates directly to more horsepower and torque. One of the best features is the patented hidden breather backing plate; it is O-ringed at the heads and exits inside the mouth of the throttle body, creating a virtually closed-loop system that does away with messy external hoses. The one-piece aluminum backing plate includes a radius air inlet for smooth, unobstructed flow. If you ever need a replacement filter, look for part number 959594.
