About This Product
This MCS clutch spring compressor tool is designed for releasing the clutch spring to allow removal and installation of the retaining ring on 1990–1997 Big Twin, 1991–2022 XL Sportster, and 1995–2001 Buell models. An adapter for XL Sportster applications is included. Without this tool, compressing the heavy clutch spring enough to access the retaining ring is extremely difficult and potentially dangerous. It provides the controlled, even pressure needed for safe clutch service. A must-have for anyone doing clutch work at home rather than paying shop labour rates.
