This fork damper tube assembly is designed for 33.4mm diameter tubes and fits 1971 to 1972 FX and XL Sportster models. The kit includes both left and right damper tube assemblies, complete with rings, screws, washers, lower stops, slider seal washers, and retaining rings. It serves as a direct replacement for OEM 46100-71. For those working on earlier 1952 to 1956 K and KH models or 1957 to 1970 XL Sportsters, these can be fitted with some modification, typically requiring the steel lower legs to be drilled to accept a larger damper bolt. It is a comprehensive kit for restoring the damping performance of your early 70s front end.
