This MCS rear replacement cylinder fits late 1973–1985 61-inch (1000cc) XL Sportster models. Manufactured in black-painted cast iron with a stock 3-3/16 inch bore, it replaces Harley-Davidson OEM part 16465-73C. The cylinder requires finish boring and honing by a professional machine shop before installation and comes without pistons and rings. If your 1000cc Sportster's rear cylinder has reached the end of its life through scoring, cracking, or excessive wear, this reproduction delivers a fresh casting to the same specifications as the original.
